Glenn Paustian

Director, Allied Health, Sports and Fitness

I am so proud to be associated with the RIC Sports and Fitness Programs. My sons and I have participated in Caring for Kids SCUBA diving trip in the Florida Keys. My wife and I love to spend time with our family and often do so in Door County, Wisconsin. We like to snow ski, water ski, backpack, kayak, camp year round, run marathons, and SCUBA dive. We also have season tickets to Northwestern football and basketball games. Go CATS!

I have a BS in Therapeutic recreation and master's degree in Sports Management. I’m a sports nut and I have spent most of my life in and around sports. My favorite hobby is traveling and I have visited 38 states and 17 countries. Being a graduate of Michigan State University and a sports fan, I jump at any opportunity to see my Spartans playing sports – Go State!

Aleksandra Gebska

Exercise Physiologist

I am extremely passionate about sports and fitness and truly believe that regular physical activity is a key component of health and wellbeing. My interests include equestrian sports and strength training. I have a BS in Biology and Physiology from Poznan University of Life Sciences. I am a graduate of NPTI and currently hold CIFT and CPT certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine.

I have a BS in Kinesiology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My hobbies and interests include sports and outdoor activities, running, sketching, playing the guitar, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Program Specialist, Caring for Kids Program

I have a BS in Therapeutic Recreation from Illinois State University. I love working with kids and providing recreation and leisure opportunities that help enhance physical, social, and emotional goals. My favorite hobbies and interests include hiking with my dog, traveling, playing volleyball, and cooking.

Exercise Physiologist

My passion for exercise started while receiving my BS in Exercise Science from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where I played football. I hold two primary certifications through the NSCA; Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and ACSM; Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer. I’m also a functional movement guru and certified Level I & II Functional Movement Specialist.

Exercise Physiologist

I have a BS in Kinesiology and Nutrition from UIC; hold multiple certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine and a Cancer Exercise Specialist certificate from Rocky Mountain Cancer Rehabilitation Institute of Northern Colorado University. I'm a big proponent of healthy living through fitness and exercise and my calling is to help people achieve it. My personal interests are downhill skiing, hiking and biking and spending time with my family and my French bulldog.

Fitness Program Lead, Exercise Physiologist

I have a master's degree in Kinesiology from Southern Illinois University and a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Marquette University. I currently hold two certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine: Health & Fitness Specialist and Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer. In my spare time, my hobbies include running, baking, and reading.

Jason Stubbeman

Adaptive Sports Coordinator

I have a BS in Recreation Management. I enjoy travelling and have been to 17 countries. I have a passion for adaptive sports on both a professional and personal level. I love outdoor adventure sports like backpacking, rock climbing and whitewater kayaking. My newest hobby is playing with my daughter and watching her grow every day.

I have a BA in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Northern Iowa. My passion is coaching adapted sports and I hope to coach in a Paralympic Games. I like spending time with friends and family, participating in sports, and traveling.
