Parkinson’s Disease Amplitude-based Training is an advanced level group exercise class that incorporates the latest approach to exercise for early staged individuals with Parkinson’s Disease.
This class comprises two components:
- an education session covering Parkinson’s Disease related topics, and
- an active exercise portion utilizing multidirectional and repetitive movements to increase functionality of everyday activities.
The class is designed to help increase:
- Range of Motion
- Cardiovascular endurance
- Muscular Strength
- Balance, and
Parkinson’s Disease Amplitude-based Training is for people who:
- Are early staged individuals with Parkinson’s Disease
- Are comfortable performing dynamic movements in both seated and/or standing positions
Parkinson’s Disease Amplitude-based Training class is taught by experts in the field of clinical exercise.
All participants are encouraged to consult with their physician before beginning this or any new exercise program.
