Fall Risk Screening & Conditioning Program

What is the Fall Risk Screening & Conditioning Program?

The Fall Risk Screening & Conditioning Program is a six-week comprehensive program to identify and modify the factors causing an individual to be "at risk" for falling.

Consisting of a pre and post evaluation and ten 50-minute personal training sessions, the Fall Risk Program aims to address and improve areas of weakness such as strength, balance, walking speed, step length, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance through a comprehensive evaluation including:

  • A self-assessment
  • An assessment of modifiable fall risk factors
  • An objective evaluation
  • Cognitive and educational training
  • A targeted exercise prescription
