Who can join?
People with a physical disability may be eligible to participate in the variety of recreational or competitive sports opportunities offered by the RIC Adaptive Sports and Fitness Program.
How to Join
Anyone interested in participating in a competitive or recreational sport or who wishes to become a fitness center member is required to have a medical form filled out by their physician or health professional to be kept on file.

Cost
RIC Fitness Center
There is a nominal one-time initiation fee to join the RIC Fitness Center and a yearly maintenance fee.
Membership Initiation Fee
The membership initiation fee of $35 should be submitted along with a completed medical form.
Yearly Maintenance Fee
All RIC Fitness Center members pay a nominal yearly maintenance payable from September 1 - to the last business day in December. The maintenance fee keeps one's membership active for the following year.
Virginia Wadsworth Wirtz Sports Program
There is currently no membership fee associated with any of the Wirtz Sports Programs. Many of the sports programs are offered free of charge to participants, although in some cases, there may be a nominal fee associated with participating in an event or sport. Check with the individual sports program for more information.
