Study Objective

The objective of this study is to investigate the role of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (i.e. SSRIs) on volitional and spastic motor behaviors following motor incomplete SCI in humans and their effects in combination with specific physical interventions (i.e., BWSTT).

Who Can Participate
  • Spinal cord injury level between cervical spinal cord level 1 (C1) and throracic level 12 (T12)
  • Older than 16 years old
  • Demonstration of  some volitional lower extremity movement
  • Evidence of lower extremity spasticity
