Cervical Stimulation for the Treatment of Cognitive Dysfunction Associated with Mild Traumatic Brain Injury

Objective

The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of an implanted device* to treat certain symptoms associated with mild traumatic brain injury.  These symptoms may include: mood or behavior changes, trouble with memory, concentration, attention, or thinking.   Participation will last approximately two years and consist of surgery and eight follow-up visits. All study related procedures will be provided at no cost.

How to Participate
  • 18-65 years of age
  • suffered a closed head traumatic brain injury
  • at least 12 months post-injury
