Dexterity Training within a Manifold

Objective

UIC and RIC are conducting a research study on how robots can be used as rehabilitation tools.  Participants will move a handle connected to a computer-controlled robot and perform tasks in a virtual reality system similar to a video game.

Help advance our knowledge on the motor learning of stroke and traumatic brain injury patients.

How to Participate

Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Adults ages 18 - 64 who have suffered a stroke or traumatic brain injury

For 1 visit:

  • $50 Compensation

This study requires 1 visit to the laboratory which lasts approximately 1 hour.
