Enhanced locomotor recovery in human SCI through motor adaptation

Objective

The purpose of the proposed research is to enhance independent walking function in people with incomplete SCI by adding adaptive resistance at targeted phase of walking during BWSTT in order to augment motor adaptation.

How to Participate

• age between 16 and 65 years
• medically stable with medical clearance to participate
• level of the SCI lesion between C1-T10
• more than 12 months post spinal cord injury
• ability to ambulate overground with assistive devices as needed
