Compliant Robotic Gait Training in Children with Cerebral Palsy

Objective

The goal of this proposed study is to improve the efficacy of BWSTT in children with cerebral palsy (CP) using a novel robotic therapy that applies controlled force to the leg during the swing phase of gait.

How to Participate

• Children with a diagnosis of bilateral spastic CP
• Ages 4 to 12 years old
• Able to signal pain, fear or discomfort reliably
• Ability to stand and walking without physical assistance with the use of assistive devices or orthoses as needed
