Locomotor Adaptation in Individuals Post-Stroke

Objective

In the proposed study, we aim to enhance walking function in people with stroke by applying controlled loads to the affected leg using a novel cable robot during BWSTT in order to augment motor adaptation and enhance training.

How to Participate
  • age between 18 and 75 years
  • medically stable with medical clearance to participate
  • history of cerebral vascular accident and demonstration of impaired walking function
  • more than 6 month post stroke
  • ability to stand and walking without physical assistance with the use of assistive devices or orthoses as needed.
