Evaluation of the Therapeutic Effects of Navigation-Guided 1Hz rTMS Administered to the Contralesional Hemisphere in Patients with Stroke

Objective

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether administering transcranial magnetic stimulation on the side of the brain that was not injured by the stroke along with rehabilitation therapy can improve movement and function in the weak arm and hand.

Individuals who had a stroke within the last 9 months

Compensation

$20 per session (6 weeks of training, 3 x week;   Testing sessions: 1 week before training,  1 month and 6 months after training)
