Title: How to be competitive when you apply for your first faculty position
Abstract: I will discuss three main elements that selection panels are looking for in a candidate for a junior faculty position including research output, teaching experience, and service or administration experience. I will also present some presentation and interview tips. The presented information applies mainly to senior PhD students and junior postdoctoral fellows.
