Research Interests
Mr. Lock’s research interests include prosthetics, myoelectric control, and virtual reality in rehabilitation. Mr. Lock has helped develop advanced signal processing algorithms used in deciphering myoelectric signals from the residual muscles of amputees for improving control of prosthetic limbs. Simultaneously, he is directly involved with developing virtual reality clinical tools for amputees and the electromechanical development of advanced prosthetic components.
