Clinical and Research Interests

As an occupational therapy practitioner, Ms. Stubblefield has worked in acute and sub-acute physical rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago since 1977.  Her experience and expertise is in the treatment of patients with stroke, spinal cord injury and amputations.  Since 2001, Ms. Stubblefield has participated in research, training and testing of targeted muscle reinnervation patients using conventional and experimental prosthetic components and control schemes.
