Research Interests
Dr. Deeny has a background in exercise neuroscience, with previous research focused on the protective effects of exercise on neurocognitive aging. He has experience in brain imaging (EEG, MEG, PET), cognitive testing, Alzheimer’s Disease, expert performance, and genetic influences on neurocognitive function. Dr. Deeny’s research interests also include biomarkers, intervention strategies to promote recovery and healthy aging, and brain-computer interface technology.
