Center for Aphasia Research's Funding Sources are Two-Fold:

  1. Clinical research studies that establish the efficacy and effectiveness of aphasia treatments are funded by research grants from a variety of federal and private agencies and industries including the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR).
  2. Groups and classes that enhance communication, and encourage and engage participation of stroke survivors with aphasia in everyday life activities are dependent on philanthropic support.
