Insurance Providers Accepted
The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) accepts most major health plans, including Medicare and Illinois Medicaid. For your convenience, RIC will handle insurance verification and financial clearance for your patients. Not all RIC locations participate in all plans. Prior to referring a patient, please contact the location to confirm plan participation.
HMO Patients: Must have a referral from your primary care physician.
PPO/POS Patients: If RIC is in your network, access services according to guidelines. If RIC is out-of-network, services may still be accessed, but usually at a higher cost to the patient.
If you are unsure about your coverage, call your health plan or the employer through whom you have benefits.
