RIC Academy FAQs
The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) Academy provides rehabilitation continuing education programs to health care organizations from around the world with customized outreach programs . In addition, the RIC Academy produces and distributes educational materials including textbooks, videos and dvds. Course Registration Information
If you are interested in attending one or more of our courses, please go to the full course calendar . Tuition must accompany the registration form. To avoid disappointment, register as early as possible. Allow at least three weeks to receive confirmation materials. Transportation information and maps of the area will be sent with your confirmation letter upon receipt of tuition. Receipt of printed confirmation material will verify your registration. If you do not receive them, please call the RIC Academy at 312-238-6042.
Education Credits
RIC programs are approved for continuing education credit by the appropriate accrediting bodies.
Accommodations
Hotel information is included in all course flyers, and participants may call the RIC Academy at 312-238-6042 for additional information.
Accessibility
All conference facilities are wheelchair accessible. Accessible materials and sign language interpretation are available with at least 45-days advance notice.
Refunds
Tuition, less a 20 percent administrative charge, is refundable if RIC receives a written cancellation notice one week prior to the program's start. No refunds will be given after this date. RIC reserves the right to cancel or change a program for due cause. Cancellation by RIC will result in a full refund of tuition.
Travel Arrangements
Since registrations are taken in the order in which they are received, do not make airline reservations that have cancellation penalties until RIC confirms your registration. You may make hotel reservations at any time. RIC will not be responsible for the refund of transportation or hotel expenses.
