Parkinson’s Disease Amplitude-based Training is an advanced level group exercise class that incorporates the latest approach to exercise for early staged individuals with Parkinson’s Disease.
This class is comprised of two components:
1) an education session covering Parkinson’s Disease related topics, and
2) an active exercise portion utilizing multidirectional and repetitive movements to increase functionality of everyday activities.
The class is designed to help increase:
- Range of Motion
- Cardiovascular endurance
- Muscular Strength
- Coordination
- Balance, and
- Stability
Parkinson’s Disease Amplitude-based Training is for people who:
- are early staged individuals with Parkinson’s Disease
- are comfortable performing dynamic movements in both seated and/or standing positions
Parkinson’s Disease Amplitude-based Training class is taught by experts in the field of clinical exercise.
All participants are encouraged to consult with their physician before beginning this or any new exercise program.
