Stroke Injury Treatment and Rehabilitation Services
Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) physiatrists – physician specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitation – are recognized leaders in the field of stroke rehabilitation. They provide expert care to manage each patient’s condition, help prevent complications that could impede progress and map out strategies to maximize recovery and help avoid a recurrence of stroke.
What makes RIC different than other rehabilitation hospitals?
Physical and occupational therapists, rehabilitation nurses and speech language pathologists work individually and together to help each patient address the unique effects of a stroke.
