New or acute injury? At RIC, a physician who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of spine, sports and musculoskeletal injuries can see you right away. We offer an integrated approach to rehabilitation, including physician services, on-site diagnostics and specially trained therapists that working together to Advance Human Ability™.
The difference: physician-led, expert clinical teams
While many providers offer basic rehabilitation, few have physician-led, expert clinical teams who work 1-on-1 with you throughout your care. At RIC, we know physician-led care makes a significant difference in getting you better. The physician oversees the treatment teams at RIC and is based, in most cases, at the site of therapy. This means you have access to a physician throughout your care. Physician care at RIC is so personal that the physician calls you back with your test results and discusses your treatment plan.
Are you sure you need surgery?
RIC's physicians specialize in non-surgical treatment options. PM&R (physical medicine and rehabilitation) physicians are nerve, muscle, bone and brain experts who treat injury or illness nonsurgically to decrease pain and restore function. The expert team of clinical specialists, led by a physician, specializes in spine, sports, and musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries. Rather than focus only on surgery, RIC physicians are trained to holistically explore non-surgical rehabilitation to provide you better care with better outcomes.
Conditions treated at SSRC:
- sports injuries
