At RIC, we are committed to selecting the combination of materials, technology and fitting techniques that is most appropriate for you, given your current condition, strength, range of motion, activity level and lifestyle. People from across the country and confronting a broad range of conditions come to RIC for prosthetic and orthotic devices. Because of this,our staff members are in a position to develop the best device for you.

With the location of RIC's Prosthetic and Orthotic Clinical Center at the flagship hospital downtown, it is possible that your doctor, therapist or therapists, and prosthetist will all be in the same building. Our professionals work in close collaboration with your doctors and therapists to ensure that your device meets your needs and that you receive the proper therapy to use it to its fullest potential.

All RIC P&O clinicians are certified in prosthetics and orthotics, many of whom are also certified to fit products that require specialized training.

Making an Appointment

Have your physician write a referral for an RIC physician consultation. Then contact RIC at 800-354-REHAB to schedule an initial evaluation.

If your loved one is currently in a hospital or skilled care setting, ask the case manager at the facility to initiate a referral to RIC.
