Pelvic Pain

Pelvic pain is a condition that affects both women and men. The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) provides rehabilitation services to help people who have pelvic pain due to the following:

  • Pregnancy
  • Postpartum pregnancy
  • Intercourse
  • Bowel and bladder incontinence or dysfunction
  • Low back and pelvic dysfunction
  • Endometriosis
  • Surgery

Evaluations conducted by physicians and therapists determine pelvic muscle dysfunction and provide the foundation for developing personalized comprehensive rehabilitation programs.

RIC also offers Health Care for Women with Disabilities. Additional specialized services for women with disabilities are available through The Women with Disabilities Center, located at the Main Campus, at 345 E. Superior Street, in Chicago.

Comprehensive pelvic pain rehabilitation services are offered at several RIC locations. For more information, call our Toll Free Referral and Information Line: 1-800-354-REHAB (7342), or visit the locations page of our Web site.
