RIC Women’s Clinic

The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's (RIC) Women’s Clinic is located on the third floor of the Flagship hospital. Its clinical staff is comprised of OB/GYN physicians affiliated with Northwestern’s Prentice Hospital, RIC physicians, specialized RIC nurses, occupational therapists and psychologists who provide a network of health and reproductive services specifically for women with disabilities. Since its inception, the Women’s Clinic has provided accessible, basic reproductive health services that include:

  • Pelvic exams
  • Family planning and contraceptive services
  • Pregnancy consultations & prenatal care
  • Accessible mammography referrals
  • Preventive healthcare counseling
  • Psychological services

In order to be seen at the RIC Women’s Clinic, you must be referred by an RIC attending physician. Call RIC scheduling at 312-238-6100 and ask for the next available appointment to see a physician for a consultation. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please call in advance to cancel. Also, please have your insurance card and the name of your current RIC physician available when calling to make an appointment with the Women’s Clinic.
