Warm Water Exercise is a fun 45 minute group exercise class that utilizes a combination of gentle movements to upbeat music!
The class is designed to help increase:
- Joint flexibility
- Range of motion
- Muscular strength
- Core development, and
- Balance
Warm Water Exercise is for people who:
- are comfortable standing in chest-deep water
- are functionally independent, and
- are able to use stairs to enter and exit the pool
Please note: In order to register for the Warm Water Exercise, participants must be referred to the class by an RIC therapist.
Participants are required to bring their own towel and swimsuit. Dressing and changing areas are provided and showers are available for a quick rinse after the class.
Warm Water Exercise is taught by experts in the field of clinical exercise.
All participants are encouraged to consult with their physician before beginning this or any new exercise program.
