Caring for Kids
Caring for Kids, part of RIC’s Wirtz Sports Program, offers adaptive sports, recreation, and social activities for children living with disabilities. The varied programs designed for children ages 7 to 17 promote physical fitness, independence, socialization, activity and adaptive programming resources, and foster a positive quality of life for its participants. Caring for Kids provides more than 200 opportunities annually and, thanks to fundraising events like the John Dolan Golf Challenge, these activities are offered at no or a very low cost.
