RIC has earned the "Best Hospital" distinction from U.S. News & World Report every year since 1991. No other specialty hospital in the United States has attained this level of recognition.

American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet Award

American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet Award
The Magnet Award for Nursing Excellence is the highest recognition awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The designation is given to those hospitals that meet or exceed rigorous standards of care and professional performance. The "magnet" name is given because institutions that meet these standards have a superior ability to attract and retain the best professional staff.

In 2008, RIC received a positive review after being surveyed by CARF for comprehensive medical rehabilitation and vocational rehabilitation services. As a result, RIC was given CARF accreditation for three years.
