Associate Board of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago

The Associate Board of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) is composed of a group of emerging civic and business leaders who volunteer and raise funds and awareness for RIC The Board has been in existence since 1990 and currently boasts more than 90 members.

Associate Board members support the hospital in many different ways. Some volunteer on the RIC's pediatric floor where they interact with children and adolescents receiving rehabilitation care. Others prefer to work on fundraising events such as the Bearcat Ball or ArtFutura by acquiring silent auction items, selling tickets or planning entertainment. All members focus on raising awareness of the hospital and its commitment to making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

The Associate Board directs its support to a few primary entities within RIC – RIC's Pediatric and Adolescent Program, Pediatric Charity Care and art therapy programs through the Therapeutic Recreation Program.
