Mohsen Makhsous, PhD is currently researching biomechanics related to orthopaedics; rehabilitation; occupational safety; ergonomics.
Improve quality of life for wheelchair users by preventing pressure ulcers and promoting healing process of pressure ulcers; posture stability in wheelchairs; reducing chronic low-back pain; reduce whole body vibration in professional drivers; modeling tissue response to external loading using FEM; biomechanical shoulder modeling: shoulder injuries & management, limb strength; increase quality of joint replacement with surgical navigation systems for shoulder, knee & hip.
