Research Interests

Li-Qun Zhang, PhD is currently researching development of intelligent rehabilitation devices to perform diagnosis, passive stretching and active movement treatments, and outcome evaluations of impaired limbs post stroke; investigate reflex/non-reflex factors contributing to impairments/spastic hypertonia at the joints, muscle fiber, and sarcomere levels; and mechanisms of knee injury & injury prevention; and load sharing among muscles and 3D mechanical actions of individual muscles.
