RIC’s Smartphone Technology Named One of Chicago’s “Biggest Ideas”

CHICAGO - RIC’s researchers and physicians were among those featured in Time Out Chicago’s “Chicago’s Biggest Ideas issue” for their collaboration on a new research trial that uses smartphone technology to track and measure the movements of people with Parkinson’s Disease.

Researcher Konrad Kording explained how patients are benefitting from this approach through RIC’s Center for Parkinson's Rehabilitation, which goes beyond medication and surgical options with expert therapy that dramatically approves patients’ ability to move better, think clearer and talk louder.
