Biography

Alexander X. Sheng, MD received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in 2006. He completed his residency in PM&R in 2010 at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. Thereafter, he pursued an ACGME-accredited Spine and Sports Medicine Fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 2011. Following his training, Dr. Sheng joined Risser Orthopaedic Group in Pasadena, California where he served as their non-operative musculoskeletal specialist for four years. He joined the RIC/Northwestern faculty in 2015. His clinical interests include non-operative and interventional spine care, non-operative sports medicine. He is proficient in both Spanish and Chinese. He joined the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in 2015.
