Austin Taking Steps to Go Home

Strapped to a harness for support, Austin Antle slowly and gingerly walks on a treadmill, one small step at a time.

The 18-year-old Hobart teen is making strides, physically and mentally, drawing praise from his parents as he pronounces one of the words printed on the wall above him: "expandable."

That's a major accomplishment for the teen, who two weeks ago wasn't talking at all and five months ago wasn't expected to live after sustaining a traumatic brain injury in a dirt bike accident in Hobart.
